PILA Lubbock started on October 15, 2012 as a simple candle lighting in a park with about six in attendance. In 2013, there were about 20. We started a support group in September 2014 and our memorial service was moved into a church and about 50 were in attendance. Last year, the City of Lubbock granted a proclamation for National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. Our memorial service grows every year! We are looking forward to another great service in 2019.
